About

In mid-2022, I embarked on my computer science journey at UFRRJ, where I immersed myself in the core principles of the field. I quickly developed foundational skills in algorithms, data structures, and software engineering. This experience solidified my passion for overcoming complex challenges and pushing my own limits. Since then, I have been dedicated to honing my craft, focusing on building high-quality, scalable software that solves real-world problems. I am a strong advocate for continuous learning, and I strive to apply best practices in everything I do. My commitment to delivering efficient, well-structured solutions is a core part of my professional identity.

GhLia

Jul 2025 - Present
Full Stack Developer (Freelance)
Currently working as a freelancer, I am supporting and improving GHLIA, a platform focused on adapting educational materials and creating personalized activities for students of all ages who have disabilities or cognitive challenges. My responsibilities include refactoring and fixing bugs in the existing codebase, which was developed using Flutter. I also corrected critical communication failures with the FlowiseAI API, which was crucial for ensuring the accurate generation of personalized exercises for different difficulty levels. I also designed the database architecture in Supabase (PostgreSQL), modeling new tables and normalizing the existing structure to correctly support the system's features. On the backend, I worked with a primary API in TypeScript and Go, focusing on enhancing request security and efficiency. To modernize the platform, I led the architectural migration to a new stack with a React frontend—focusing on UX/UI and performance by using componentization and Hooks to avoid unnecessary re-renders—and a Python (FastAPI) backend. This new architecture maintains the use of advanced AI APIs to continue offering personalized educational solutions.

I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.

Foodiary

Foodiary

Foodiary is a mobile application designed to make healthy eating easier and smarter. Users simply take a photo or enter a description of their meals, and the integrated AI analyzes the content, calculates caloric intake, and compares it with the user’s pre-set dietary goals. By combining advanced image recognition with natural language processing, Foodiary helps users effortlessly monitor their nutrition in real-time and make better choices throughout their day. The app features secure authentication and user management via AWS Cognito, real-time data processing with AWS Lambda, fast and reliable content delivery through AWS Cloudfront, and scalable media storage using AWS S3. All nutritional data and user progress are managed in a relational database with secure access through Amazon RDS Proxy, ensuring both performance and reliability on a global scale. Built exclusively for mobile, Foodiary leverages modern technology to offer a seamless, intuitive, and AI-driven diet management experience.

The Basement

The Basement

The Basement is a Full Stack web application built with AdonisJS 6, following the MVC design pattern. It manages movies, songs, and albums with full CRUD functionality, dynamic pagination, and content rendering. The backend uses Lucid ORM with SQLite, session-based authentication (@adonisjs/auth), and session management (@adonisjs/session), with enhanced security via @adonisjs/shield. The frontend is powered by the Edge templating engine, TailwindCSS for styling, and HTMX for dynamic interactivity, all bundled with Vite and written in TypeScript.
